July 15 Premier jour/Day oneMercredi 15 juillet- Day 1
Nous nous levons à 03h15. La nuit a été très courte mais l'excitation est là quand le taxi arrive pour nous amener à l'aéroport.
Premier embarquement pour un vol de Toulouse à Bruxelles. Le repos n'est pas possible, un enfant n'arrête pas de pleurer et deux personnes hurlent pour se parler.
Nous arrivons à Bruxelles à 08h00. Belle aéroport rénové où nous prenons un second petit déj.
Nous embarquons avec Jet Airways pour notre traversé de l'Atlantique. Nous regardons des films sur des écrans personnels. Et prenons de bons repas indiens. Le vol est tranquille. Nous arrivons même en avance à Toronto. Il est 12h00 ici et 18h00 en France. Donc notre mission est de rester éveillé pour ce remettre du décalage.
Nous nous reposons un peu à l'hôtel, nous faisons un petit tour dans la piscine et passons la soirée au restaurant.
An early start at 03.15am French time. It was a very short night, but we were very excited when the taxi arrived to take us to the airport.
The first flight TLS-BRU was not exactly relaxing as you would expect for an early morning flight - a screaming child in front and two shouting, but charming men from the Ivory Coast behind us. Not to worry though, it was only a short flight! Arrival at Brussels around 8am. A very modern and pleasant airport where we had our second breakfast.
We flew with Jet Airways (highly recommended!) for our jump across the Atlantic. Time to have a little 'alone' time with our personal TV screens - my personal choice, cheesy, but a goody - 'He's just not that into you'. Followed by 2 scrumptious, vegetarian, indian meals. Out for the count fr a good part of the flight, we found it rather quiet! Christopher tells me they put sedatifs in the flight food to make you sleep... Is that true??!!

Early arrival in Toronto around midday (it's 12pm here and 6pm in TLS), then straight to Holiday Inn for some 'quiet' time, but it is an airport hotel! We decide to make use of the facilities e.g the pool to avoid napping.The dip revives us! Off the the restaurant now, before having an early night.
